TFCA 2026 Annual Convention
Our 96th Annual Convention will be in
Park City, Utah at the
Chateaux Deer-Valley
on September 13-16, 2026.

During the warmer months, the mountains transform into a playground for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, fishing, and scenic chairlift rides.

During our annual convention, we will have several days of industry updates and education sessions on the rapidly changing convenience store and fuel industry. We will have a discussion on employee recruitment and retention, update on E15, and a timely discussion of the political landscape in Tennessee during this election cycle. We will discuss the latest vaping and tobacco trends and have a food service panel on what is coming down the pipeline in the retail space.
We have built in plenty of time in between for adventures including a fly-fishing tour, breathtaking hike in the Wasatch Mountains, and a shooting clays outing. We will have a training session and social event for our Next Generation members. This is a family-friendly event so please feel free to bring along your spouse and children as this makes a memorable vacation destination.

Packing Suggestions: The attire for the conference sessions is business casual. Overall, Park City is a pretty casual place to be and even five-star dining can be done in a t-shirt. Nevertheless, if you plan to partake in one of the area's many cultural offerings, a nice sundress or tucked in shirt are appropriate, too. The weather will be much cooler than Tennessee so pack layers. Expect crisp morning with sunshine during the daytime. Hiking boots and water shoes are recommended. The hotel has a pool so feel free to pack a bathing suit. If you are planning to hike, a backpack with a water pack is useful. Sunscreen and bug spray are advisable. Excursion Details
Fly-fishing Tour:
Sunrise in Grand Teton National Park is an optimal time to view wildlife, and the lighting at these hours typically offers the most photogenic views of the Tetons. Your knowledgeable biologist will guide you to breathtaking overlooks and wildlife hot spots, describing the behavior of various species throughout your tour. This Grand Teton sunrise tour will give you the opportunity to view bison, pronghorn, elk, moose, osprey, bald eagle, bear, wolves, and much more!
Schedule:
6:45 a.m. – guests gather in lobby to leave at 7 a.m. from the ballroom area of Snake River Lodge. You will get left if you are not on the bus by 7 a.m.! Tour will end back at Snake River Lodge around 11 a.m. for those that are going on both activities.
What to Wear: Comfortable attire and a jacket for the cool mornings
Food: Breakfast sandwiches provided upon departure in the hotel lobby. Snacks and refreshments will be provided on the tour.

The natural beauty seen while on a float trip lets Grand Teton National Park visitors discover the magic of the Snake River from a very unique perspective. Get off the beaten path and discover the Snake River corridor which is a lifeline to many of the animals and other natural resources of Grand Teton National Park. Mindful of the rich heritage of the Snake River and this Teton Mountain valley, the guides enjoy enriching your visit with interpretations of the area’s wildlife, geology, human and natural history.
