TFCA 2026 Day on the Hill

TFCA is excited to host our annual Day on the Hill in Nashville with State legislators! This is an important day - TFCA's most essential task is to educate the General Assembly Members about our industry, and develop dependable relationships that TFCA can rely on when we have big legislative battles.
The Day on the Hill is open to all members – marketers, retailers, vendors & major suppliers. TFCA works on legislative issues that affect everyone. Your business is important to Tennessee, and we want you to join us in working with legislators.

Breakfast Briefing 7:30-8:30 a.m.

Attendance for this is required if you are attending the Day on the Hill meetings. TFCA will provide a complimentary continental breakfast. At the briefing, you will break into regional teams and receive your appointments for the day. TFCA makes your schedule for you with appointment times and locations.

Following the Day on the Hill, TFCA members are independently hosting a dinner at Morton's Steakhouse beginning at 6 p.m.
TFCA members share the cost of the dinners. *Please note the dinner is not a TFCA-sanctioned event. As the employer of a registered lobbyist, TFCA is prohibited by law from purchasing meals for legislators.
Lodging:
Lodging is recommended at the Downtown Double Tree Hilton. Click here for reservations. Cheaper rates might be available on discount travel websites.
Parking:
Valet parking is available at the Downtown Double Tree. The best option for self parking closest to Cordell Hull is the WeGo Central Bus Station Parking Garage, 400 Charlotte Ave, Nashville, TN 37219.

Join Mimi Bliss as she provides us an informative session on "Telling Your Story" on the day before Day on the Hill.
When TFCA members talk to state legislators, they want to speak confidently and comfortably about the issues that are important to their businesses. This three-hour "Telling Your Story" workshop will prepare leaders for meetings with policy makers and elected officials.
From this workshop, you will gain these skills:

Following dinner, a group outing will be held that includes dinner and drinks. Discover Pinewood Social, an iconic downtown Nashville restaurant nestled in the city's historic Trolley Barns. This trendy hangout includes cocktails, American cuisine, and a vintage bowing alley.
