Thursday, July 17 | 1:30 - 7:00 p.m. EDT
TFCA would like to invite you to the Summer Summit on Thursday, July 17 at Maker Exchange in downtown Knoxville.
Ben Bolton, Senior Energy Programs Administrator at the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation will lead Operation TennTom: A Fuel Disaster Response Exercise, our educational training session.
This session will highlight the interdependencies in our communities that depend on petroleum fuels to respond and recover from disasters. The purpose of the exercise is to bring together fuel stakeholders, as well as state and local emergency management staff, to discuss coordination and response efforts. The scenario will involve a significant fuel outage resulting from a series of natural and manmade hazards.
The educational session will be followed by a cocktail reception and buffet dinner. After dinner, you can walk across the street to see the newly-renovated Knoxville Sunsphere.
The Summer Summit will be a great networking opportunity and educational event. We can't wait to see you in Knoxville!
